If u says about the quality then

Wave > mp3 >Amr (quality)

Amr > Wave > Mp3 (memory space)

I've never heard of amr, BUT Wave is higher quality but the file size is HUGE, an MP3 can be high quality but the bit rate has to be set to 192kbps or 320kbps which is the highest.

order of quality hi to lo
order of compression none to high
wav, mp3, amr

compression = information loss = deteriorated quality
AMR is for cell phones - not much memory to play with.
