Why don't men like to discuss feelings? How come when you ask them questions about?

Somtimes i feel weak talkin about my feelings. So I try not to.

I think girls are more encouraged to discuss their feelings because we're more "emotional." Men on the other hand, are expected not to be so sensitive but "manly." And i guess some men are not comfortable discussing their feelings because it makes them seem not as strong.
I think it's just a ego thing, my ex never shared much of his feelings, so it was difficult to understand how he felt.
