can fleas cause worms in dogs or cats ?

Yes they can. If a dog or cat ingests a flea there is a good chance that the flea is infested with tape worms. Once ingested then the cat or dog will be infested.

Yes. Some fleas may have tapeworm eggs that the cat could end up eating when they clean themselves. Get the animal some flea, tick, and worm medication.

Yep, fleas harbor part of the tapeworm life cycle, so you can get tapeworm via fleas, but not the other types of worms.

yes, especially tapeworms.
the animal ingests the flea and the flea already has the worm. this is why defleaing is so important. one thing leads to another

Yes! They are called Tape worms! You need a good dewormer called droncit from your vet. Co. Op stuff does not work!
