Divine revelation through the Holy Spirit and the Truth Adjuster, which is God's divine spark within us, helps us to understand the essence of God.

Of course, this understanding is primitive on our part. However, it will guide us into the light of understanding if we let it.

Increasing one's knowledge by studying philosophy and other belief systems helps us to grow and have a deeper understanding of God. He does direct the heart if we let Him.

The essence of God is beyond the human comprehension; and that being so, we Muslims are taught that He is unlike anything or any form we can think of or ever imagine. He is known and understood by His attributes and one of these is that He begets not, nor is He begotten and has no relation or partner or associates in divinity. There is no divinity but He.

God is All Powerful, All Knowing and Aware, All seeing, independent of any needs, eternal, has no beginning and no end. He wills "BE" and "IT IS". Creating a universe is like creating a single soul. He does not get tired or need rest.

God is nearer to one than one is to oneself.

The belief in divinity or a super divine power is inherent in the nature in which God has created us.
If one fails to grasp the existence of God through His unique attributes, he or she will still keep believing in a god, but with a crutch and believe him to have a form or image.

Since so many, have never known a true father, it's hard to use that as an example. But it even those, can imagine what a great father would have been, then God is the epitome of fatherhood.

He's patient with His children but can be pushed away, if we try hard enough. He sees beyond our capacity and guards us, not Him but His army of angels.

He spanks us, for our own good and to help us grow. He admonishes His own.

He gave all that was possible, just to make up for our own inadequacies. He sent an agent to cover up our failures.

He's still there, even after we've had our little tantrum.

Read the Bible. That is where you will find accurate knowledge of God for today. The books of Romans thru Philemon contain the instructions to us in this present economy of God. The rest of the book tells of Gods dealings with a NATION. Happy reading.

There is no knowledge about the essence of god. It's all a delusion.

This is a great question. I have no answer for. But I will say that the few people I know who have wisdom, critical thought, and reason permeate all aspects of their life, and they are able to find god. Then those people amaze me. I wish I had that.

That can be captured in a single word... 'delusion'. That's what you call insane 'belief' in nonexistent entities, contrary to all credible evidence.

"When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion." ~ Robert M. Pirsig

It is a personal relationship between created and creator. Father and children.

That is the answer to both questions.

The common ground is a relationship based upon curiosity.

Simply....PUT..... " The WORD... of... GOD...! " VERY... MOST...ACCURATELY!

(1Samuel 3:21) And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the Word of the LORD.

(1Samuel 3:21) And the LORD

appeared again in Shiloh:

for the LORD Revealed

Himself

to Samuel

in Shiloh

by

the Word of the LORD.

..... AND.....

(Isaiah 8:20) To the Law and to the Testimony [ The WORD of GOD] : = = if they speak not = = = according to = = this Word, = = it is because = = = there is no light in them.

Thanks, RR
