I mean, both are obviously paganistic cults, but which one has more of the true faith?

I'll get a lot of thumbs down on this one, but it doesn't change truth.

Mormons are NOT Christians. Even their first "prophet" claimed that "all Christian churches are an abomination." Now, however, they're trying to align themselves with mainstream Christianity so people will be deceived of the fact that Mormonism is truly a CULT.

Catholics miss out on a lot of stuff with all their traditional liturgy, but many Catholics are born-again Christians.

"Of course we all know how wrong they both are"

Quite an assumption coming from a person that does not even know that Catholicism is the very definition of Christian. Or that without the Catholic Church there would be no Protestants here today.

Do some homework before making incorrect statements and presenting them as fact.

Start with a read of the New Testament and move on to the Catechism of the Catholic Church. They are easy to find.

Peace be with you!

You say "obviously" as if that one word proved your point all by itself.

Here's a real question, though: why are you asking this? I mean, "obviously" if they're both paganistic cults then it wouldn't matter what they teach.

There is no such thing as "degrees of Christianity." You can't be "more Christian" or "less Christian" than someone else. You either believe in Christ or you don't.

Besides, ANY organized Christian religion is pretty much a paganistic cult. That includes yours. They all have pagan-based celebrations or holidays, or else revere or worship objects or people that aren't to be worshiped. ALL of them make money.

This is why I prefer to be nondenominational. I believe what I feel is right, and I don't believe in what is just "fluff."

The Catholic Church (together with the East Orthodox) is the original Christian church. There was no other for ten centuries.

Now it is not a race or a competition, and I am not going to malign Mormons or Protestants. I'm sure there are many Christ-like people in each of these folds.

But I will simply state that we got here first, before any of you.

they're both cults so it's a moot point. It's not that one leads 1/2 way to hell and the other one all the way to hell. They both deceive. Jesus said in John 3:3 'I assure you, unless you are born again, you will not see the Kingdom of God'
Both those cults ( and many more) twist and/or ignore this most important verse.

There's no such thing as true faith. Both Catholicism and Mormonism are as Christian as any other denomination.
