I think it's somewhere from four monthes to eight months old they go into heat the first time. Take her to the vet and have her spayed. It'll cost you like $50 to have her spayed, though.

And if we are wrong about her just going into heat then the vet will see. So... yeah just take her to the vet ready to pay to have her spayed.

Cat's don't get PMS, that's a human thing.

If your 'kitten' is sexually mature - meaning older than 5 months -- she is possibly in heat and yowling for a mate. I

f she's younger, she's just yelling because it's cool and fun in the dark. I had one who would go into the bathtub becasue the accoustics were so much better in there.

Some sing to their toys, we have one who does practically opera for 3 minutes when she gets excited about her 1" ball she can carry around. The darker it is, the longer she sings.

Female kittens usually reach sexual maturity around 6 to 10 months old, so she very well could be "pms-ing", or what is generally called "in heat". When in heat, most cats will not have detectable amounts of blood. Some yowl and drag their hind area along the ground, or wave it in the air. I would suggest getting your cat fixed.

If the howling stops when she sees you, it's not pms. She wants attention.

Maybe she needs to mate and can't get out of the house. Perhaps she isn't a kitten any more.

whoa noo i don't think that's possible..maybe she's just lonely while she's awake and nobody else is or there could be something bothering her in the middle of the hallway.
