Yes, I have had to do that in the past. I remember taking seven dollars in change to the gas station in a Ziploc bag so I could put some gas in my car to get to work. I was a little embarrassed but money is money. Most everyone falls on hard times at some point in their life.

Like the other people said you can go to a coin-star machine and get actual dollars for your change. They do charge you 8% though. If you have a bank account your bank should do it for free.

Go run the change through the coin star machine, get dollars for it, then buy something if you can't handle paying with change.

Money is money.....who cares?
