NO, System Restore is a feature that started with Windows ME, and that did not work out very well.

There might be a RESTORE DISK... If there was, it came with your computer. You see, Microsoft makes a NEW INSTALL and UPGRADE version. Your computer manufacturer may have shipped a RESTORE disk with your computer.

Hey, now Windows 98 is 9 years old this year. If you got that computer in late 1999, it would be 8 years old now. It's time to TRASH THAT OLD COMPUTER and get a new one.

Nope, feature was added as of Win XP

No, that's not a Win98 feature. That was added only to WinXP.
