Yes. We were engaged and I got pregnant. I came home from work and the house was completely turned upside down and all his things were gone. FYI: 10 years later, I thank God every day that he walked because I have a fabulous husband that I wouldn't have had if he hadn't bailed.

Yup! Two years ago the man I was seeing for 6 months just stop answering my calls or emails. We were together for over 6 months, worked for the same company, thank God at different sites. To this day, I still wonder! What did I do wrong? I did ask him few months latter when I wasn't hurting anymore but he just shock him head and smile. Don't want him back but closure would have been good. I see him occasionally at work functions, etc. I have stopped feeling guilty and when I am around him, I am confident again. But guess what? He is very uncomfortable in my presence

Yes a few times, and I wanted some answers for closure. It actually took me longer to get over that because I did not have the answers I needed. Today, I always keep my wall up and I am very cautious. I assure you if you keep the communication open in a new relationship you will have answers... but then again the guy who did this is a coward and what I would call immature. He wasn't man enough to face you... so screw him and move on.

My own personal experiences made me bitter and could do the same to you

Yea. He just quit talking to me and didn't acknowledge my presence when I walked passed him. But 5 years later I found out that he couldn't face the fact that I was gonna move away the next year. Not even willing to talk about it. I was so hurt and then I got mad. Mad is a much better feeling to deal with!

He stopped calling.

Haha. I was busting his chops too much. He couldn't handle a chick that was knew how he worked ie the lies and his motives...

After a d&m he made it clear by not calling me that he wanted to end it. Pretty lame, but I guess he just wanted to have fun - didn't want to settle down with a 'good girl'.

Fair enough - we weren't a match. He couldn't offer what I wanted and I sure as heck wasn't going to be what he wanted.

Yes. After 13 1/2 years, my relationship disintegrated. It was all stress related I think, definitely noone else was involved, but we never properly talked it over. He took me to the airport, I just got on a flight, and that was it. x

yes! recently, my now ex boyfriend "took" home this girl after 2 weeks that we haven't talked. and now they are living together. it's been 4 mos now but im still hurting but moving on... i did found out the reason, though its not reasonable enough for me... he just said that he loves me but cant deal with the fact that my dad doesn't approve of him. (coz he's not making any effort to be approved of). so he chose an older girl within two weeks over our 4 year relationship. that really hurts!!! =(

Yes. Back in 1971. I woke up from surgery, my Fiance was there for a few minutes,(I was still pretty groggy from the medication), then he was gone....never saw him again. To this day I have not managed to find out why.

It happened to me. I was with a guy for 4 years. He left me when he went to see his parents who lived abroad and we were due to meet up after that. I never saw him again. I tried to contact him but he was very offish and I never got a reason from him. His ex gf did this to him so I can only assume that he did it to me. People often work in patterns. It was painful but I guess he had his reasons......

Yes, and I'm so upset because he was still very nice to me before that. Till this day, I still dont have a clear answer, but that doesnt matters. Everything happens for a reason.
