Lonestar... do not give up on Tancredo. You are correct when you say that the Liberal Media trys to steer AMERICANS towards the candidates that their BIG BUSINESS buddies want, but I think this time thay are over doing It. They won't even let some of them speak In these debates. Its really ashamed that we cannot have an open dialogue with regard to electing the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. With MAINSTREAM MEDIA so biased, and an outdated ELECTORAL COLLEGE,they are able to manipulate the way people vote. People need to WAKE UP,and find out the truth behind the push for the president by BIG MEDIA.

It doesn't matter under the current administration's illegal alien friendly policies, but it will be a different story when Fred Thompson becomes president. In a perfect world, Tom Tacredo would get elected, but the media has already painted a picture of him as a "second tier" candidate, whatever that means. In any case, that card will be just like almost everything else in San Francisco - overvalued but not worth much.

Don't worry, they said gay marriage was ok too in SF and that didn't go very far. The marriages were invalidated. I wholeheartedly believe we will be reading articles that all of these bunk ID's are invalid and no longer accepted soon enough. Right now I think SF is trying to draw more money in and that's sad because it's that type of greed and disregard for the laws that is sending this country on a rapid downward spiral. At this point, I'm familiarizing myself with the EU because if the NAU happens...I would rather leave than be a citizen of that crap.

No, it's not against the law -- no matter how many people are upset about it.

A city CANNOT (by federal law) discriminate based on immigration status -- the city is explicitly prohibited from enforcing federal immigration law.

The city, therefore, is only identifying people for purposes of CITY resources -- which it has ever right to do, and which the law requires it to do irregardless of immigration status.

If you want cities to start being able to punish illegal immigrants -- you need to get the FEDERAL laws changed to allow and require that. Because until then, the federal laws _PROHIBIT cities from doing so -- as countless judges across the country have ruled every time this issue has come up in the pas several decades.

Now that illegal aliens can come here and get ID cards, this country is officially taken over by illegal aliens. Many considered this country invaded by aliens that our government allowed. Just wait. With the ID cards and the Mexican trucks being allowed to take this nation's transportation system....and they will, The U.S. is no longer, stands for nothing it was supposed to, giving our American dream to aliens wiping out the middle and lower classes. We are already losing our homes. Give it a few years and these illegal aliens will get legal status and occupy our homes and the government will let it happen.

If you are not upper class and well off, buy yourself a tent now cause as demand rises the price of tents will inflate. We will all be living in tents, and when the upper class has no money because the middle class has no money to buy their products, they will live in a tent too. Blame the Bush Administration for giving away your country to illegal aliens.

In every city and thousands of small towns the illegal alien influence has taken over. They have flooded small town USA. The U.S. government just does not care. Soon, the disheveled status of Mexican corruption and economy will be in this country. Need proof? We can't pay for our homes which ofcoarse means the houses will become run down. If we can't pay for our homes, how can we pay for ANYTHING else? It's over.....this country is over.

It won't be good for much come 2008's REAL ID requirements, and I think it is against the law. It certainly is against public policy.

This is happening because American citizens are standing by letting it happen.

If we go down the tubes, it will be our own fault.

A passive nation gets the government it deserves.
