I already try to avoid them. This is only going to make me more cautious around them.

There will always be people out there who are easily swayed by extremist thinking. There are more followers than leaders. Its when you get a leader with Osama's kind of thinking that makes things bad. I am sure he is doing what he feels is right. Unfortunately, his efforts could be directed in another way to actually make a positive impact in the world. He possibly could have been a great leader, but the way he is going about it is all wrong. He defeats his own purpose.

It's just going to reinforce the hatred that some already have for Islam, giving them justification for continuing to hate. For the rest of us, we're smart enough to realize that Osama is a nutjob fanatic and that there are millions of Muslims out there who don't ascribe to his tactics. Kind of like that fact that there are many African-Americans who say that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do NOT speak for them.

Avoid? I thought we were all supposed to convert?
But seriously. I don't know, I assume things like this always involve a backlash of some sort. Every time they bust a terror cell, it must raise suspicion. I'll admit that I, for my part, have a hard time hearing about things like that without reacting. But it kind of goes with what's often said, that "moderate" Muslims ought to be the ones denouncing Islamic terrorism the loudest, for their own sakes.

I doubt it. Most people, I believe, have decided how they feel about all religions long before Osama came along. Muslim terrorists have made us all more alert to Middle Easterners in general, however.

1) Islamics isn't a word, the word is Muslim.
2) Bin Laden doesn't lead the religion.
3) Not all Muslims are terrorists and not all terrorists are Muslim.

I don't know the answer to your question but the world has to unite against his beliefs. I am thinking he and his family are the same as to what he preaches against. If his family was not so affluent he could never have achieved what he feels he has. I have wondered if he isn't dead, at times I feel he is. If not then he is coloring his beard.

Nope. Osama is just another crazy man and in no way represents all Muslims.

I hope not. We need to be in prayer for all people to overcome this tragedy plaguing the world. As a Christian, we need to show God's love to the Muslim we come in contact with and hopefully some will embrace us, not want to destroy us!
