They will probably ask for a deposit. The cable company will probably quick to disconnect if you are late.

My credit score is only 544 and I have a bankruptcy on my credit. I wasn't even asked for a deposit to have my cable hooked up. Do you have a cable collecion on your credit report? That is the only reason I can think that they would turn you down for cable tv. Try negoitating a settlment with the company who you owe and netogiate removal of the negative listing with payment.

You could try Directv too, they have better prices than standard cable anyway.

Yes my brother has horrible credit and still got Cox cable. I heard Direct tv is easy to get to...
Sometimes they might ask for a deposit though

Dish isn't cable, it's satellite. Go to a RadioShack or something and purchase the Dish prepaid system. Like $200 up front and the equipment's yours.

You might want to check out this site - they can help you improve your credit score by using the law and they're 100% legal. They are also in good standing with the Better Business Bureau and do not charge those extremely ridiculous prices like those companies that scam. I used their service and was so happy that I did. They offered a money-back guarantee, were professional, and delivered on what they promised. Check out their website to read all about them. Let me know if you have any questions about the process - I'd be happy to help.
