At a time when are wages are stagnating and our middle class is being forced to compete with the lowest-cost labor in the world, what does president Bush want to do-aided and abetted by congress? He wants to support illegal immigration. The guest worker program proposed by president Bush was supported by po-amnesty organizations like the National Council of La Raza and LULAC, the league of United Latin American Citizens. While these groups claim to be fighting for the rights of illegal immigrants in the name of humanitarianism, they in fact funded by major corporations that want continued acces to cheap labor. These include, Levi Strauss, Home Depot, Walmart, and many others. Other groups lobbying for amnesty include the Mexican American Legal Political Association, the Ford Foundation ( Which sponsers and funds many of these groups), and the ACLU. So basically Bush doesn't care about the people, Mexican or Americans, its all about big bussiness. He's a puppet.

Cinderblock you obviously didn't read the paragrah. If he didn't want to then why did he. He said he's doing it for the people not the war.

We've dropped 40,000 jobs last month, just in the ones they track, and those who lose their jobs are finding a harder time replacing them, our number of people in 'severe poverty' has doubled, our wages have DROPPED in many industries, our wages are the lowest percentage of gross domestic product since WWII (and before that was the Great Depression), our workers have the highest productivity of any in the world, and our services and schools are failing our own people because they are being drained to subsidize cheap labor for big business, including illegally here cheap labor.

Bad situation.

That's right. Now he has started the trucks in the dark of night to cross our borders and put American truck drivers out of work.
I guess they think putting construction workers, painters, etc. wasn't enough. Plans to bring in more technical workers and doctors to flood the working place and keep prices down. Maybe we should all move to Mexico or India they don't put up with illegals.
But most people will vote for the same parties that are bent on destroying America as we know it.

He is for big and small businesses that is for certain. He now has the mexican truck drivers who will be permitted to drive in this country. This will eventually put our drivers out of a job. Bush has no mercy for working American workers.

Did you know that you should not express an opinion as if it were fact. Also, you should use spell check so we can better understand what you are trying to say.
Mr. Bush has never support supported illegal immigration, and there is absolutely no evidence he has. He DOES care about people, especially Americans. That is his responsibility as president, and he does a great job of it. I just hope your liberal slanted view will not be mistaken for truth by the young and gullible.

You should be referring to Bill Clinton. He is the one that signed away our jobs when he signed NAFTA.

You got it all wrong. Bush doesn't want to support illegal immigration. The problem is, it is too expensive a war to fight, given that he's spending his war money elsewhere. Easier and cheaper to let the illegals that are already here stay, and collect taxes from them.
