the visions mentioned in the bible are also manifested out of the, individuals, vivid imagination. most visions spoke of are brought to them while in slumber. Back then they didn't know how to explain dreams, thus like everything else, it was put down to divine intervention. Children have and are capable of vivid imaginations, they don't see, or rationalise, the same way as we do, as adults, thus they interpret their dreams as real. I have a neurological disorder, like epilepsy, but it only happens when I sleep. Sometimes when I convulse, I see things, such as; I once saw a swarm of Jinny spinners above my bed. This "vision" was brought about by my sub-conscience, my wife is petrified of them, she had mentioned to me, before I lay down to sleep, to make sure the window was shut, so that they would not fly in over her while we slept. Thus reason tells me that the vision manifested itself through the events that happened up to and leading into my convulsion. There are many things about our brains that can not be explained, I should know, I have still not been diagnosed after 19yrs, the fact that we only use up to 15-20% of our brain speaks volumes about what we could be capable of. As we grow and evolve as a species the answers will reveal themselves, until then we have to deduce through reason, logic and a lot of common sense!

I had visions and still do, reassure your child that the dark is not scary, it's just dark so we can rest our eyes and sleep. If they learn to trust the dark and their visions they will understand that it is just information that all of us get (some have forgotten) and that they have because their brain works 24/7. Most visions come in a trance state and this is happening just in between wake and sleep. Children do have nightmares, but the difference is that visions are as clear as watching a TV show and feel "so real", dreams and nightmares flash in sometimes unrelated photos. Try a night light that is a little brighter so the shadows don't frighten your child

I think it's mostly imagination, but I still remember one dream I had repeatedly as a small child. I was an adult, married and had children. As I grew up, I realized that when I was that little, I did not really know enough about marriage to have those images. So I wonder to this day whether that was a memory of a past life.
