a pervert so we never hooked up. now we met and fell in love,at least i did and she told me over and over how much she loves me. but i got drunk one day and acted like an ***.i guess said some things.after 2 months she is talking a little bit,says she hopes we get back together,but can never really have the time to call me,or talk.i keep calling her and bugging her should i do that. cant stand not being in contact with her. i love her that much,please help

It's a good thing you never hooked up with a 14 year old girl when you were 20. It's not just the number of years difference - in this case, she was barely in high school and you were in college. It would have been illegal to boot!
This makes you 55 years old today, from what you state in your question. If you are so gosh darned crazy about this love of your life, why aren't you married? She is 49 today. I think you are both old enough. Are you still dating like you were in high school at your age today? I hope that '35 years' is a typo.
If it was 5 years go, instead of 35, my answer is still the same. Do you think you are still dating like you were in high school? At 25, aren't you out of college by now? She would be 19, and perhaps going to college. People are either looking for commitment or looking to play, to put it bluntly and simply. You and she have to decide which it is that you are doing.
If it truly was 35 years ago that you shared a crush, then I think you're a little too old to play.

Instead of calling her all the time, why not write love letters instead? It sounds like she still has feelings for you, so she'd love to get love letters.
Step Two: Stop Drinking. If you can't drink without getting drunk, you probably have a problem. Some people really can't be around drunk people -- either they had families that drank or had issues with exes that drank. No matter what, it doesn't put you in the proper light. Plus if you stop drinking she will probably like you way more overall just because you're trying to do what's right for you. :)

A drunk old man, pathetic! Do you really think she is going to tolerate that behavior and give you a THIRD chance? She grew up, you at 55 dayum years old have not. She is probably thanking her lucky stars your drunk behind reveal itself before she fell too hard for you. You made it easy. Move on, she is NOT coming back.
Women, see prime example of why older men younger women don't work! Fast forward 14 year old girl 20 year old man, a picture of the future 49 year old female 55 year old man, the man still making bad choices.

Let love find you. The more you call and bug her, the more it'll annoy her. i know it's hard to keep your hands folded, but sometimes, it's what you gotta do. if you don't call her, she'll wonder why you haven't been calling, and she'll call you, ya know? try that for like a couple of weeks or more. you just can't force someone into a relationship. hope this helps.

I lived with my head in a bottle for seven years. I've been clean and sober for 34 years, 6 months today. I'm still meeting people I hurt when I was drinking. (Both physically and mentally) You didn't say what you said to her that got her upset. You need to pick, booze, or a relationship because it's obvious you can't handle the second if your using the first.....
