It is the only way to get things out of your nose. And whatever you do is in private is, well, your business! There's nothing wrong with picking the nose. In private, that is.

British spies during the second world war were told if any German soldier etc was looking at them to pick their nose and the German lost interest in the spy because of that nose pick and I still believe its good protection to give it a go in public ~~

Etiquette deals with PUBLIC behavior. What consenting adults do behind closed doors is another topic -- MORALS. No way I'm getting involved in a discussion of the MORALITY of nose picking! Pray about it or something.

Perhaps you could try using a little bit of water or saline soaked Q-tip (cotton buds) to moisten and clean the inside of the nose as part of your daily morning hygeine. (Privately, of course)

Yes it's OK, just do it in private please. Did you catch the Jerry Seinfeld episode where he was scratching his nose and it looked like he was digging deep? Pretty funny stuff...:)
