Life is a gift and should not be squandered. Earth was made for us to live on peacefully, forever. The original plan went awry with Adam and Eve, but that didn't change God's purpose for us. None of us had any choice about being born, and we just need to make the best of our situations. God wants us to live a long life here. That's why the commandment about obeying our parents is followed with a statement that implies we will live longer and better if we do honor our mothers and fathers.

Most of the apostles did die in an awful way ... Not that they liked it. Jesus asked god to release him from the cross, if it were possible, but there was no other way. / And no: living is about living, not living to reach the end sooner. Nobody knows or should worry much about their own ending. We are supposed to enjoy life, the good moments of it, and endure the bad moments. This is what life is about, and there are spiritual beings that would really like to live the life we, human beings, live, but they weren't chosen for this. So, all of us should be very honoured! A religious friend of mine once invited me to go mountain climbing in Colorado. I was all packed and ready to go until a CD I packed for the trip caught my eye. It was David Lee Roth's "Skyscraper" cd. I looked at it intensely for a few minutes, pondering the photo on the front.
No God in heaven or religious friend on the earth could compell me to do that.
I graciously bowed out of the invitation.

No, thou thalt not tempt the Lord thy God, thats very clear to me and thats the words Jesus used on the devil. In the book of Luke 4:12. The devil tried to persuade Jesus to cast himself down from atop of the temple, verse 9. Being a Christian is about living our lives praising his name and being obediant to the faith. The bible says that the just shall live by Faith, thats found in Romans, Galations and Hebrews. Now if you have not been saved then it is impossible to serve him in faith because the Holy Spirit does not live in your Heart, If you have not been saved just say this sinners prayer and you can be saved today, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

It appears that some of the noisiest xians share a habit of recklessly seeking sex in all the wrong places.
But more consistently, they insist that the rest of us live dangerously -- and then they do all they can to perpetuate this by (among other things):
- encouraging other people's kids to fight in wars
- making sure kids don't get proper sex education
- making birth control nearly impossible to get
Christopher Hitchens observed recently that Mother Teresa didn't actually love the poor. What she loved was poverty itself, and she perpetuated it by teaching women that contraception is a sin.

Absolutely not at this present time only it was before because Chistians before are being persecuted when they were reading the bible, but now we have that freedom of speech and expressions.
It is very safe and secure if you are a Christian.
"who can be against us if God is with us?

Actually, for a lot of Christians, it does. They go everywhere, preaching the gospel, even in places where they are so distinctly not wanted that they get thrown into prison or even assassinated.
It's not unlike those guys who strap dynamite on themselves and blow something up in the name of Allah.

Hello.. :)
In many cases yes it does..such as missionary work in other countries and even in my own country USA..
While living in Phoenix, Arizona..I had met a gang that wanted to kill me, because I was a Christian and I was white, so to them, I was prejudice..but the Lord gave me words to say to them..
I said you are Hispanic, you are black and you are Native American right? They said yes, so what..I said well if anyone is prejudice against others, than it could not be me..
You see, I am French, Irish, English, Indian and Scottish..So please tell me how I could be prejudice against anyone.. :)
We became good friends after that..they came to know the Lord.. :)
I am prepared to go home to meet my Lord , when ever or where ever I am..I just pray He finds me faithfully Loving others as He commanded us to.. :)
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

I can wait... but I do prefer to live dangerously, but that's my choice... there is no compelling reason for me to LIVE or DIE... and I'm not going to stay around just because my family would miss me...
besides, you can't tell me ATHEISTS want to live boring lives.
