Novena: from the Latin for 9. It is a series of set prayers prayed for nine days to obtain a grace or a petition or to give thanks for a grace or the answering of a petition.
Thurible: from the Latin for censer. A container in which incense is burned.
Montrance: from the Latin for demonstrate. It is the repository for the Eucharist, in which it is placed for the veneration and worship of the faithful during certain ceremonies. Remember, to a Catholic, thanks to Christ's admonition aand command, that piece of unleavened bread having been blessed using the very words Christ used, IS the Body of Christ!

In the Catholic Church, a novena is a devotion consisting of prayer said (most typically) on nine successive days, asking to obtain special graces. These may consist of small prayer books, recitation of the Rosary, or small prayers through the day.
Thurible and Boat is an incense burner, and I think it's used for many special masses. I know Good Friday, Palm Sunday, and All Saints Day to be a few of them.
Finally, a monstrance is the fancy gold thing used for eucharistic adoration. If you went to Catholic school, you probably remember hours of kneeling, staring at a fancy gold thing, and there you have it.

I'm not catholic, but I know a novena is a cycle of prayers and candles lit for a specific cause.
A censer is an incense burner, sometimes on a chain, that is carried to fumigate the air in the processional with incense.
I don't know about a monstrance?

Novena refers to the number nine. It can be nine days of prayer or nine weeks or any other combination of nine prayers in succession for a designated purpose.

A novena is nine days of prayer to a particular saint for a particular favor. Ernest Borgnine has a good novena joke. E-mail me and I'll tell it to you.

novena is like a devotion to a saint or saints. in a novena you have to pray 9 consecutive days for your wishes and/or petitions to be granted. for example, you want help from getting a new job or passing your board exams you'll pray for st. jude for 9 consecutive days, i think every thursday. and if you want to have a baby, you'll pray novena to st. claire and have to offer eggs, because st. claire loves eggs. i used to do novena to our lady of perpetual help, especially when i was pregnant. i was praying for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. so my novena is every wednesday.

I pray you click this link which exposes the falseness of Catholicism and many other religions.
God bless.
I'm not wrong for the Bible says so. Please show me where in the Bible it states confirmation,rosary,purgatory...etc..etc is required? Have you even read this link?
Catholics rely on useless works and sacraments to try and EARN their salvation. Ephesians 2:8,9 says salvation is a GIFT from God. How does one earn a free gift? You can't!
Jesus said in John 3:3 Unless you are BORN AGAIN,you cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
He did NOT say,....unless you say three hail marys and the rosary.....
