Its too ridiculous to even consider, and why would I want to anyway?
How would you feel if it was considered a sin to love your mother and for loving her, you will burn in eternal hell? Why would you even want to consider something like that?
You must be really, really bored.

Here IS a question that should maybe be considered:
What if it became illegal to teach or give sermon to certain Books of the Bible?
Thats what some of your liberal groups are attempting to do in this Nation: to put Priests, Pastors, and Bible Scholars into jail just for acknowledging that certain verses of Scripture exist. Now this is not a fairy
tale: this is actually a law before the Senate.
Say byebye to freedom of religion and freedom of Speech in this once wonderful Nation. Oh, and if you don't believe in God and so don't really care if this happens, just remember that sooner or later they are gonna get to something YOU DO CARE ABOUT. So it had better matter to you, no matter who you are, or what your beliefs are.

Well, if believeing in the bible were a sin, it would have to be a sin from another god, let's just say there's a different god than the bible puts out and that god is the "real" one. So if this "real" god considers it a sin to believe in the bible because it is false worshiping of another god, than why the hell hasn't this real god done anything to make his presence known? Why are we being punished for our ignorance? What kind of sick god punishes us for believeing in something when the real god won't help us out a little? What's up with that. I wouldn't want to worship a god who lets us go on believeing in something totally false and then punishes us for our ignorance.

I would rather be a good person down to my heart and trust that no matter what god is the real one, he/she will see that I'm a good person and judge me on my actions, not by my ignorance.

Allah Almighty Says: And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Qur'ân) in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it and Mohayminan (trustworthy in highness and a witness) over it (old Scriptures)[5:48]

The Qur'ân came to humanity after all the previous revealed scriptures had either been lost or, like the Torah and the Gospel , corrupted. Allah speaks about how people had corrupted the scriptures, saying: “Woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say: ‘This is from Allah' to gain from it a paltry price. So woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they gain from it.” [ Sûrah al-Baqarah : 79]

It isn't. You don't go to heaven by believing in the Bible. The Bible says no sin is greater than the other.

To get to Heaven, you simply only have to believe that you are a sinner and that Jesus died for you. You confess your sins to him. He forgives you and forgets your sins. Isn't that just the most wonderful thing ever? He loves us all unconditionally. He may not like things we do or say, but he loves us and he gives us the chance to live with him forever.

No one is perfect and we are all human. We will continue to make mistakes, but as believers, we want to live as he would like us to live.

Isn't that what most other religions (or at least the ones that have a concept of hell in their religion) believe? Every religion believes they are the right religion and most think that if you don't follow the one true religion (whatever religion they follow), then you will go to hell.

I, being from a faith unjustly akin to sinners and evil activities in the eyes of christians would unfortunatly have much sympathy for them... i grow tired of persicution... i grow tired of this back and forth hatred... i fear your question, though well posed comes from a place of anger... and though i can understand that, i would say that the goal should not be calling attention to the fact that most other religions are dissrespected to say the least in the eyes of christians, but to find a common ground. however i must admit that it wont happen in mylifetime. either way, i wish you well.

That would mean outlawing stupidity on moral grounds--that would be great! But why should THEY get to go "down there"???--I'm so used to being told I'm going there that I've already made reservations!

But that's not how it is. The King James Bible is the word of God penned by human man by the inspiration of the Holy spirit.
