Who is going to decide which views are "immoral?" I like to see everybody's point of view, so no.

No. The media is not the problem. It's just a scapegoat for Right-wingnuts, mostly, who don't want to address actual problems.

The media gives people what they ask for. It's a business. It has no agenda beyond making money.

What do you consider "immorality," anyway? That's the eternal question, isn't it? I know many "religious" people think it's immoral, e.g., that gay people are finally being allowed to live openly.

Maybe if we didn't have such a schizophrenic obsession with anything even remotely involving sexuality, we wouldn't be stuck in this perpetual cycle of indulgence followed by shame and indignation - which is what the media is capitalizing on.

I wouldn't call it immoral, but I hate the entire concept of reality shows. People making money just to a) air their dirty laundry on national TV or b) or portray themselves as being so extreme -- in one way or another -- that there is no reality at all involved in it.

Orson Wells "1984" propaganda machine?
and some think of religion as opium for the masses...
Talk about shoving agenda's down someone's throat!
Homosexuality, men bashing, murders, sex, etc.
It has always had a left wing liberal slant.

Hey people, immorality is not relative; acceptance of it is.
It is getting worse, and I just don't watch or listen to it.

I'm with the person who says they don't watch or voluntarily pay for media that I don't care for.....

I can't help paying for some though. I pay my cable bill and wish that I could excise some channels from my lineup...... I'm paying for them, but would NOT want them to pollute my home.....

"Who is going to decide which views are "immoral?"

God made it easy for us, He already has decided.

To answer your question, yes. I seldom turn the TV on anymore. I suggest trying it, I actually feel better not having my spirit assaulted daily.
