The Chinese military hacked into a Pentagon computer network in June in the most successful cyber attack on the US defence department, say American officials.
The Pentagon acknowledged shutting down part of a computer system serving the office of Robert Gates, defence secretary, but declined to say who it believed was behind the attack.
Current and former officials have told the Financial Times an internal investigation has revealed that the incursion came from the People’s Liberation Army.
If they can watch us and use all the technology on us, then why does this happen?

If you really want to understand this, all you need to do is look at the back of your computer components. Look for the stickers that say "MADE IN...."
I spoke with a Hewlett-Packard executive recently about the fact that it is impossible to get a printer that meets my industry's specifications that isn't made in China. He gleefully told me that this wasn't going to change any time soon, and if it ever did, the manufacture was more likely to move to Mexico than back to the US.
I think that's a lot more disturbing than our dependence on foreign oil.

Nothing new,been going on for years.
All they get is crap that can be found on the web.
The real stuff is behind so many safeguards that hacking it is virtually impossible.
Our guys can probably tell you the lunch menu at Chinese Army HQ.

The Internet is probably going to be the undoing of humanity. It puts the entire database of humanity at risk. A good hacker is only a few keystrokes away from doomsday.

Why does it happen? That's the game between countries that goes on these days.
Do you not think that America spies on other countries, hacks into their systems, and does what it can to snoop? If you don't, it's time to get real.

They HAVE to say the DOD files were not invaded. They can watch us but not their own files??????
