Here are a few problems someone might encounter at a theme park:
Storing things you can't take on a ride so you don't forget them and they're not stolen.
Parking of strollers outside attractions
Finding something to do while waiting in line for an hour for one of the rides.
Finding others in your group after you split up.
Carrying around the giant stuffed animal you win early in the day. (Without it getting dirty or damaged)
Losing glasses, hats, money, cell phones, ipods, or other items that will fall out of your pockets (or off your head) during rides.
Trying to eat lunch or dinner while you're standing and inching along in line for one of the rides.
