Evolution and Creation are both assumed, not observed. Both of them can't be repeated with experiment. YOU choose between either. not "science". Many say that Evolution is proven and is science well it's not. can you repeat it? no. do you have any convincing proof? no. so evolutionists, stop killing Creation when your theory has equal value.

# 1. Observe some aspect of the universe.
# 2. Invent a tentative description, called a hypothesis, that is consistent with what you have observed.
# 3. Use the hypothesis to make predictions.
# 4. Test those predictions by experiments or further observations and modify the hypothesis in the light of your results.
# 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until there are no discrepancies between theory and experiment and/or observation.

you can't repeat evolution, hence, it is not science. it doesn't go along with science. same with Creation, but personally, i believe in Someone creating us and us not just "happening"

i did pick up a book i studied it in college. a Christian college, that is. your answers are hollow. you rely fully on scientists and labs, but have absolutely no free will or judgment for yourself.

We repeat evolution every day. Every new species of dog bred is a replication of evolution.

and you say i'm not smart. umm i believe WE (as humans) combine those species of dogs to make a new one. evolution has no say in that.

I agree, and disagree. Evolution is not real. But creation is. Creation has been here ever since God made everything. And people such as scientists think that they can take it into the own hands. They try to be like God, but play gods. God gave creation yes to man. But as in a reproductive since. We as men, and women, are supposed to multiply the earth. But no of the same thing. As in cloning. We should look at evolution. It was made up by a man. With no proof, only to say we have one thing in us that is different than a monkey. And that's not substantial evidence. But creation, there's proof. And some may ask where. I say look in the Bible, there's all the proof you need. And I ask this... wheres evolution's?

Dis agree - Creation is nonsense - just a myth like all the other creation myths and there are hundreds of them. If you want to choose between then. Do you choose the one about the giaent goat sneezing the universe into existence. Or the Australian Aborigines or the North American native or the Hindu or the Shinto or the Celtic or the ... or the .... or the ...

Or do you choose to examine the evidence for evolution (and the other - scientific aspects - that explain the origins of the universe, the formation of the solar system and the birth of life on earth.

Or are u going to remain a member of the flat earth society all your life.

Disagree the genetic variables that cause evolution are very clearly observed and documented. Evolution is a Theory and will always remain a theory. The problem with evolution from a studying point is it cannot be observed so clearly until after the fact.

One day the Theory of Evolution will likely include laws but dont expect them to be simple.

Edit: So now this is a personal attack, Do you realise that for all intensive breeding dogs for specific traits counts as natural selection? (We are nature too). So explain to me how if eveything was made as it is, we have new breeds being created every few years?

To quote this guy below
"You can't prove evolution if that was the case us humans should be changing our appearances by evolving!"

Why am I taller than both my parents?

I only spent a year of my College life Studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Evolution is proven, it still is not a complete model of how it happens and it does not explain everything but you may aswell just deny modern medicine, if you're going to deny that.

It is true that neither has been observed by any people that are present on the earth today. Evolution people are using their faith to believe what other people have told them without substantial supporting evidence. Talk about blind faith! Creationism obviously comes from the pages of Genesis, but makes more sense than anything evolution ever tried to purport. For one thing, that account explains the reason why we are in the mess we are in (sin) and there really is no other story on earth that describes adequately why things are "less than perfect here."

Besides all that, science does not have all the facts. And in addition to that, how can one be certain that all the facts are being properly interpreted. Evolution has not been proven. This is fact. Because the scientific community is ready to grab an unproven theory and run with it, they have bias in their interpretations of what they are observing. This is why science as a whole is tainted, and is less than reliable - because they have made a decision of how things are, without being able to prove the basis beyond a doubt.

As for the comments on dog breeding, are there new species of animals being developed through dog breeding? Has the dog been turned into a lion, for instance? No, dog breeding is merely pairing individuals with predominant characteristics to develop and emphasize a genetic trait in future generations of that animal. No one has bred dogs and gotten a horse out of the deal, or some "new" animal that has never been seen before. Dog breeders are essentially "stirring" the genetic soup of one type of animal.

One parting comment. Aristotle wasn't wrong about geocentrism, was he? If he can be proven wrong by Galileo, Darwin can be proven wrong also. It's really more the matter of who will be willing to listen to the evidence, seeing that ulterior motives are at work in saying that God doesn't exist (which is the beginning and ending reason for inventing and supporting the theory of evolution).

Yawn. Evolution is both a fact and a theory. Read this article.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution_as_theory_and_fact

Creationism has zero value as a scientific hypothesis as it offers no proof. Evolution is a scientific theory. Like the theory of gravity, electromagnetism, and so on.

We teach it in public schools the world over, and it is only in the extremely ignorant US that creationism has taken such a flight. I fear for the level of your public education.

We repeat evolution every day. Every new species of dog bred is a replication of evolution.
It's not of equal value, not even close. What we have proven is that the world was not created 6000 years ago in seven days. And we prove it every day when we carbon date something.

Edit:
Wow, you're dense. Because -we- as Humans can do that, that means that it does happen and is within the genetic framework of animal-kind. We bred them with eachother, but they could have just as well bred with eachother on their own and created new species and subspecies. Don't be an idiot, you write with an educated hand, think with an educated mind. Evolution is observed in progress every day.

yikes
evolution takes place in the lab all the time
do some reading.
no, we can't "repeat" a process which goes on over millions of years, in the same way you can't build a mountain over night.
but there is plenty of good empircal proof for both mountain building and evolution.
not to mention that intelligent design is basically dying.
they have been defeated in the courts, and by scientists on every count.

Trying to combine faith with science is like trying to be a Christian Satanist. It just doesn't work. You don't sound intelligent and you don't sound like you know what you are talking about. Stop trying to change everything and accept it for what it is. Two separate things need to stay separate. Faith means you have no proof. Science means you have evidence. Obviously...you don't know the difference.

Why do I have to chose either? It doesn't bother me whether I was an ape or just poofed into being. I live in the now, not the past.
