It depends on what STD you are being tested for.

Depending on the STD, the doctor might want to give you a urine test, blood test, swab test (fluid sample) and/or a physical exam.

urine and blood samples - its a very fast and easy procedure. They will most likey call you in about a week after your test if there is a problem then you go back in for treatment if you need it.
