Don't just trust the FREE SCANS, some errors are not truly errors, they just faux it, so that you must but their product to able to fix the errors which is not true.

Try to consult to MICROSOFT.COM they will guide you through.

Well, in response the the main question, you can listen to the advice of people who are paid nothing on the internet and whose sole motivation in helping you is their own goodwill or desire to increment a number adjacent to their name.

... well.. what free scans are you talking about? What are the "errors" that these scans give saying? Is the computer seriously bogged down by spyware or something (you can get spybot: s&d free here if so http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html )? what are the major problems that you are having with your computer right now?

Lots of questions here, you haven't provided lots of info. Give more info and maybe we can fix it for free :-)
