I often wonder the same thing about many parents.

There are few ways to look at this: Start with little rough way.
- Why do we think that God is a free servant to cleanup all the mess created by man?
- If someone does wrong, doesn't he deserve to face the consiquances? Rather in the perfact world, he/she should have enough courage to ask for correct consiquances. Which means, in the perfact world, sorrow will be there. God should not be blamed. If I cross way in red-light and hit a car, the car cannot be blamed. Instead, I see that even I may be at fault, God accompnies me with all my consiquancies.
- Infact, if we donot have sorrow in the life, we cannot truely appreciate the happiness. No one in the world can feel the joy of child's birth as much as the Mother feels. That's why ability to give birth to a child is considered a greatest thing. If you walk for few miles, you will really appreciate the joy of resting.

My Dear GT,
I am so sorry that you had to suffer like that! I guess we all suffer with you too. That's why we have friends to help us carry such a big load.
He is not responsible for your suffering, that perp is. God was with you, not only at that time, but right now, as we speak. God is "Longsuffering" That means He suffered too, right along with you. I can even feel it somewhat.
I need you to let go of this hurt. Every morning and night, say:
I let go of this hurt. It no longer suits me.
I am not weak, it's not my style.
I stand strong,
I am loving, and very much loved.
Every day that passes from now on,
I am healthier than the day before.
I am stronger
Healthier,
More joyous, and
At peace!
Good Bless you, Sis.

Sometimes people mistake God for a genie, and people expect him to just make things go well. Well if you truly believe in God, remember that in the beginning, God didn't want things to be like this. It you want to blame someone, blame Eve. She's the reason there is evil on this world. Now, God will help you. But keep this in mind, and be honest to yourself....SHOULD he help you? You are God's child. Do you show him the respect he deserves? Think of it this way....if a child treats their parent like crap and disobeys them and never listens to them, do you think they are going to just give them whatever they ask for? If they do nothing to earn what they want, they won't get it. So ask yourself, have you really treated God in a way that he should give back to you? Do you ignore God most of the time, but then when you need something you suddenly pray and ask for what you need? That's not how it works...and that's why so many people tend to think God is evil and doesn't care. You need to truly believe he is there, and truly love him and show him respect, and he will be there for you. (by the way, when I say YOU in my answer, I'm not specifically directing it at you, but just people in general)

People suffer because those are the challenges those souls CHOSE to endure and work through BEFORE they were incarnated in their current life.
Each soul, before returning to Earth, reviews their previous lives and decides what they need to improve on or what they'd like to experience as a way to further their learning and futher their soul's perfection. While in "Heaven", the soul is feeling so great and invincible that he/she thinks they can handle a lot more than they should. They make their initial charts even harder than what the reality is likely to be....and get talked out of a lot of it when they present their charted plan to first their chosen guide, and then to the council.

I have been on the Internet since 1998 and this question always comes up...just about every day.
If I had a dollar for the number of times I have answered this question....lol.
But here goes.
The idea of an all-loving God that loves all people the same and watches over the world is a myth. It is not based on the Bible.
Read the Bible and get to know God by His Word.
Open your heart to Jesus Christ and let him be your savior.
Never mind about all the bad stuff in the world. Focus on your own life and your own relationship with the Lord.

God is NOT a good daddy-in-the-sky. God/Reality is the multi-dimensional quantum field we are all embedded in that is responsive to consciousness. Your experience of reality mirrors what you 'believe to be true' - so you can see how important your early experiences with disfunctional, abusive or simply disrepective/neglectful people are in shaping your learned ego identity. But, remember that you are NOT your ego's thoughts and feelings and limited memories. You are the OBSERVER of them.
God/Reality is neutral. Human's are the cause of the ugliness. It is we who perpetuate pain by harming others and passing our ego pain along.
Don't let others destroy your chance for 'full aliveness,' purposefulness and joy. Change your mind and reality will change. Your authentic Self is WHAT you love. It sounds like you would like to make a difference to the suffering of others. Keep open to the possibilities that will come your way. The world needs your passion.

I had a dream where I died and had to go to hell for a day for being a little to mean to fundamentalist.
Hell:
I was put in a room with a big table full of food and lots of people were around the table but all were handcuffed behind their backs and the silverware was to long.
The next day I went to heaven.
Heaven:
Same room, same situation except everyone was feeding each other.
God is like that, Gods inside us. Most people suffer from a lack of charity or worse. To know God is to become Godlike we do that by loving and we prove love by helping People.

People are inherently good, created in the image and likeness of God. Know you are love. People hurt people, themselves and others. We all do. People can become twisted and evil.
Take a look at the following link.... http://www.makeoutcity.com/Archives/2005/07/19/171759/
Jesus came to change hearts, to make a difference. He taught by example in word and in deed. Jesus spoke truth. Many in power became enraged and sought to kill Him. Jesus did not have a covenant with the Father to suffer, nor do any of us. We all suffer because of the choices we individually make, or the choices others make and how we individually or collectively respond. All choices have consequences. When will we ever learn....
"Love is your true self, which springs forth from God, the indefinable everlasting fountain of existence."
"It was man's choice to judge, to separate, and to miscreate himself. Now it is for each one to seek his own return."

It's up to us to take care of it. We make our own choices and unfortunately sometimes we choose to hurt others. God didn't create an evil world, we as humans can choose good and bad, and there are consequences to our actions.
