This sounds like an infection. The burning hes having is very common with UTI's. You having abdominal pain concerns me because that means if it is infection it has moved into your reproductive tract. If and when you ever feel burning or something that's just not right with your vagina its very important to have it treated NOW! It sounds like PID pelvic inflammatory decease. Always use condoms if infection is present with your partner. As far as an STD. One of you would have had to contract the STD most likely with in the last 6 months to have these symptoms. Remember you never know if your partner is being faithful so condoms are the best was to feel safe. Go see a doctor ASAP. PID can prevent you from having children and cause all sorts of fun problems if left untreated. I think your OK. I think its and infection but please go to the doctor TODAY!!!! Good luck RN

For all those people out there, Chlamydia is more asymptomatic in women then in men. A man will have a discharge. I find it hard to believe that he would not know he has that or some form of NGU.
First of all, calm down. I am not sure how the doctor can make a diagnosis without looking at test results, but, he MIGHT be right. It could be a unirary track infection. Or a bowel infection. The best bet is to go to the doctor and see what the lab tests show up. It would not hurt if you went to your doctor and were tested for anything, not just STD's. Until you find out what is wrong, you might want to refrain from having sex. But, at this point, I would not feel like he cheated on you. If proof says otherwise, then you should deal with it, but, don't sit up worrying about it.
Talk to him, and ask him if he cheated. If he says no, then believe him and wait for the tests to come back. Just don't sleep with him until then or else, for ex, if he does have a bladder infection, you will meerly pass it back and forth. good luck.

You may both have a urine infection,But it sounds more like an STD, so go as quick as possible to a doctor because if left can be harder to get rid of the longer you wait.
The symtoms you explian could be many types of STD such as gonorrhea
Most Common STDs:
Chlamydia trachomatis is the most common sexually transmitted disease . Caused by bacteria, it results in a genital infection and must be treated with antibiotics. It can lead to chronic pelvic pain and infertility if not treated with antibiotics because it can spread to other pelvic organs. Your sexual partner will need to be treated also.
Herpes genitalis is another common STD. It is a viral infection and doesn't lead to chronic pelvic pain or infertility, but it can cause a very painful and disturbing genital blisters. Antiviral medications can be prescribed that will reduce pain and discomfort. There is no cure for the infection itself, although it may be dormant indefinitely.
Venereal or genital warts (also called condyloma accuminata) are caused by a virus. They also can cause abnormal pap smears. Creams and some other medicines can cause the warty tissue to disappear but the warts may recur.
Gonorrhea is another common STD. It is caused by bacteria and can be treated with an antibiotic. The woman and her partner both need to be treated. Women often don't have symptoms but a vaginal discharge or painful urination may occur. Men are more likely to have discharge and painful urination. Untreated, gonorrhea can spread to other parts of the body and cause serious complications.
Trichomonas may cause a woman to experience foul discharge and extreme itching. It can be treated with antibiotic. Partners need to be treated too.
Syphilis is not as common as the above diseases but can have very serious consequences for women and their babies. It is caused by bacteria and can be treated by antibiotics. The woman and her partner need to be treated.
HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B are viral infections that can be transmitted sexually, from mother to baby during birth or through infected blood. There are presently no cures for these diseases but they can be managed with antivirals and other medicines. Hepatitis B is a serious liver disease. Vaccine is available to prevent contracting Hepatitis B, which can also be transmitted via infected blood. HIV/AIDS can destroy a person's natural disease resistance system leaving him or her vulnerable to a number of different conditions.

Yes, because your actually sleeping with him and everyone he has slept with in the past. You can pass a common urinary tract infection without it being from sleeping around. See a doctor. You both may need to be treated at the same time while abstaining from sex until problem resolved.
