That debate has been going on for a couple decades. Several years ago, it seemed like there was "new study information" that said the exact opposite as the "new study information" that came out the week before.
All in all, all the research points out a few things. First, many scientists may have their heads in places where the sun don't shine. Second, eggs have aspects of them that are good for you and aspects that are bad for you.... they shouldn't be shoved into a "black or white" situation of good OR bad. Third, yes, eggs have a high level of cholesterol in the yolks.... but not all cholesterol is bad, since your body DOES require some intake of cholesterol every day (the RDA recommends 300 mg minimum for general health).
Egg whites are very healthy and have a lot of good benefits. Egg yolks ALSO have a lot of nutritional benefits aside from the cholesterol. Just remember... don't throw the baby out with the bathwater ;-)

dietary cholesterol is not linked to blood cholesterol levels. That is an outdated ideal farce that was believed in the 70's and 80's and such. Everything that you eat is broken down and put back together as your body needs it. If you are 150 lbs or less, take 25-30 grams of fiber a day. If you are heavier, consume 30-50 grams a day. You cannot consume fiber as to use persay to cancel out the effects of other foods. Fiber should be consumed regularly, anyways. If you wanna be 100 % about it, Metamucil makes dietary fiber supplements, If you don't want to eat natural sources, toss beans, nuts, and anything green with leaves into your diet. Eggs are great sources of protein. Eat them a different way every day and you will never get bored ;)
