Any type of meat will go with rice-a-roni. You could bake some chicken, cook up a steak or steak tips, bake some fish. I personally like to cut up pieces of keilbasa and add it to the rice and cook it together. YUM.

Well if you reduced yourself to rice-a-roni as a side dish, then any meat/poultry will do.

If you're feeling desperate, brown some ground beef, chicken, or turkey, and add to the rice-a-roni.
Then add frozen or canned corn, green beans, or carrots, or frozen peas [ canned are nasty ].
