Sometimes I can go an entire day & even two on occasion w/o eating a morsel. After 2 days it's a problem BUT people ask me all the time why I don't eat. How about " I AM NOT HUNGRY". Good reason. I don't want to be a cow like the rest of the world either.

It is good for you to fast for a couple of days at a time. If you're not hungry then your body may be trying to clean its self out. If you are underweight or anorexic I would definitely seek professional help. Good luck!

I don't think skipping a meal now and then would do anything, but no eating anything for two days then eating will make your metabolism messed up. And you mentioned that you don't want to be a cow, and that will defiantly make you gain weight. So even if you're not hungry, eat a peice of fruit, or something. And talk to your doctor and find out whats making you not hungry. Just do something, because you're probably lacking a lot of vitamins and nutrients your body needs.

It's good. But you should at leasthave a little something. If you're not hungry, don't eat a big meal, but at least have a snack like a piece of fruit or something. Even though you're not hungry, you need to eat 2-3 meals a day, even if they're small so your body has enough vitamins and minerals to live.

I'm a little concerned with your attitude towards food and eating. Eating once a day is not going to turn you into a cow. You might want to ask yourself if you might have a bit of a problem.
Your body really does need nutrients every day, even if you do not feel very hungry. That in itself could indicate a physical disorder.
Perhaps you could at least drink some soy milk and juice to get a little protein and vitamins?
Really, I think you ought to consult a physician.

I think it's okay, to eat when your not hungry if it's something healthy. You don't have to be greedy, and eat just because it's there. You wont be a "cow" if you occasionally eat when your full just don't make it a habit.
If meals come and your not hungry eat some fruit it's low on cal and you wont be really full. I wouldnt not eat for a whole day just because you arent hungry. Skipping meals entirely is not a good idea so I suggest having a snack. :)

you dont have to be a cow to eat food not eating is a good way to become anorexic and there are so many problems leading to anorexia so even if your not hungry i strongly suggest at least (for breakfast) maybe a yogurt, (for lunch) a small sandwhich, (for dinner) a can of soup you also need to eat three times a day our body was designed to eat food, and without it, sooner or later theres a very strong chance of death you should also snack once in a while to. an apple a day keeps the doctor away! carrots r good for your eyesight bannanas r loaded with potassium see there r so many foods in the world that u can still be skinny, fit, and healthy. but seriously, if u don't eat, your body gets weak, and it's hard to do things in life without food. so really, u should eat.

Not eating as you described leads to a Lower Metabolism. You didn't say you had a weight problem or energy problem but this can lead to both. Your body thinks it's starving so goes in to a mode to save you.
Even if you just do tiny well balanced meals starting with in 30 minutes of getting up then 4 or 5 more during the day until evening.
It took allot for my Personal Trainer to convince me of this but once she did I saw an real improvement in my energy, health & life in general.
I hope this helps.

No...it is OK if you put this in the vege/vegan part. But it would have gotten more hits in the health/fitness and food & drink - general section.
Anyways, I wouldn't do this if you thought you were fat. Because then you would be anorexic. If you just aren't hungry, I would do the same thing. I never eat if I'm not hungry because there isn't any point... So I think it is OK.

Even if you're not hungry, it's not healthy to just not eat. I am oftentimes not hungry, however I still eat because I know I need to in order to function properly.
