Yes ... I am fanatic about it. Although my everyday household recycling looks puny because I reduce and reuse as well as recycle, my household shows up in the statistics of the number of households in the county that recycle. I preach the reduce and recycle doctrine to anyone who comes within earshot, and commit as many reduce and recycling acts as I can each day. My refrigerator is full of reusable water bottles, ready for the next trip; I put all of my vegetable food refuse in the compost heap; I use minimally packaged food from the supermarket, and I carry my own bags to the store to bring home my purchases. There are many places to drop off rechargeable batteries for recycling; I take outgrown clothes to the thrift shop and buy much of our wardrobe at the thrift shop. Worn out jeans are cut into strips for braiding rugs; worn out socks become dusting mitts; put your dryer lint out where the birds feed during the winter, and they will take bits of it for their nests. Challenge yourself to see how small your weekly garbage pickup can be and how large your weekly recycling can be ... or challenge the kids to find ways to reduce and reuse.

I've always tried my hardest to recycle as much paper as possible. I remember, I'd actually have my mom drive me to the recycling area to throw away my old magazines XD.

Yes, our town and many of the surrounding ones have recycle bins , once you get in the habit , it`s easy. And this past week, I bought one of those recycle bags for my groceries. Green is the new and upcoming color!

Only after I've cycled, and only if I think I need to burn more calories. Then I will occasionally re-cycle a couple of times around the block.
