Ok well I have these little red bumps on top of my vagina area. They don't hurt nor itch ...nothing ... I don't know what it is ...I'm not even sure if it's an STD or ingrown hairs (yes I shave down there) They aren't cold sores or ulcers. I'm always safe and use a condom and I only done sexual things with my boyfriend and he was a virgin before me. Soooo I'm very confused...tomorrow I'm going to the clinic to get tested but I'm not sure for what std to test for ...please give suggestions

If the bumps don't hurt or itch, and are around where your pubic hair would normally grow, then it's probably benign.

Just to be sure, however, I would see your medical provider and have them swab it to be sure. Normally, I do a herpes culture on these kinds of things, so I'm sure they would too.

Herpes may or may not be painful/itchy/burning. Usually start out with a "tingling" sensation, and erupt with vesicles (tiny blister on a red base -- usually in clusters).

Best of luck.

I think you should get tested for Genetial Herpes (if you have pain or burning when peeing)or have them checked to see if they are genital warts. Another possibility is HPV. On the other hand, you should be able to get looked at before the testing and it is possible that the person examining you will know if you even need to be tested because they do sound like they might be ingrown hairs. I get them down there sometimes because I shave as well. Just try not to worry too much, because no matter what it is, you can't change it now and most things can be cleared up.

When you shave, then have sex, the motion of intercourse can irritate the shaved area. It's probably that. If you don't do anything to irritate it for a couple days, it should go away. Also, shaving is silly. I use a beard trimmer and it keeps things looking nice and tidy and clean... but I do not resemble a little girl and I don't have to worry about unsightly bumps.

Usually when you go and get check for STDs it's just a basic test to see if you have ANY STDs.

So you don't necessarily go and say, "Hi, i would like to check if i have ____". They just take a urine sample and collect some blood.

After a few days they let you know if you have ANY sort of std. At the clinic I go to, they won't call you if you DON'T have any. They'll call you if you DO. If it's the same for you... let's all hope you don't receive that call!

There is a multitude of skin aliments that can occur as just a rash, but it would be in your best interest to have this checked by a medical professional ASAP...

could be vaginal warts (which you can get with or without a condom) but it sounds like razor burn.
don't freak out- 75% of sexually active people either have them or will get them. hard to avoid. just make sure to get checked out- a couple strains cause ovarian cancer.

It sounds like razor burn to me. That's happened to me and I've freaked out and gone to the girly doctor. Turns out to just be irritation.
