I used to have a problem until I switched to a primarily raw vegetable low cal, low fat diet and walk (briskly) about an hour (3 miles) a day. Since doing that, I've lost 38 pounds and am nearly at my ideal weight. I'm type two and have found, since controlling the diet and exercise, I can use less Metformin and my BG is much easier to manage.

I am presently in a program for prediabetics and all we do is spend 2x a week, 15 min stretching, 15 minutes tread mill, 15 minutes bicycle. I have been doing a lot of reading and am finally starting to lose weight. Walking is one of the best thing you can do. 10,000 steps a is what everyone suggests. You can get a pedometer at Walmart for less than ten dollars. Wear it for a few days and check to how much you are walking and then start adding steps. I tried to do this but have also been diagnosed with COPD and have had a triple by pass, valve replacement and a pacemaker, so my walking is limited. I do not believe that 15 min is going to give me 10,000 steps. One of gals at Nustep wears her pedometer on her shoe. I think this is great as I always lost them when I wore them on my waist band.
Another big help is to keep a food diary, write down everything you eat or drink for a week, then go over it carefully to see where you are having problems. If you cannot decide, take it to your doctor and him/her to go over it with you. This will give you an idea as to what you can do. Change your eating to a healthier lifestyle and increase you activity.
Let me know what you thing of my advice and suggestions. There is more that I could share with you, but I am limited on time right now.

I have been a diabetic for 35 years. I feel your pain... I have always been in good shape, but when I hit a magic birth date it went down hill..... It is so hard because when you cut the calories and exercise more, your blood sugar goes down and you have to drink the juice or eat the sugar. Type 2's do not understand this with their "diets"
My doctor explains to me that as long as your a1c is good, don't worry about the rest. Being a diabetic for this long, taking the needle, this is a side effect. I want to live healthy with out going blind, kidney issues, so I keep my A1c below 6 and try to stop worrying about the weight..... ( I tell my Dr. LIPO is going to be the answer!!!)
Hope this helped!

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

onetouchgold. com has a free diabetic plan that is geared to questions you answer about yourself. It will help you cut calories and watch the carbs. But, as you well know, exercise is one of the main keys to weight loss. A diabetic has to work harder to lose weight and keep it off. As if we don't have enough to worry about. Walking is a great exercise and it is free.

Plan active dates using your hubby, such as bowling as well as golfing, instead of dinner as well as a movie.

When getting your hands on your kids from school, get free from the car and greet them with a hug instead of waiting inside the car curbside.
