If you mean toasted bread topped with oil, salt and pepper (mostly rubbed with garlic) it's the 'bruschetta' or 'fettunta' (as we call it in my region, Tuscany, meaning 'oiled slice').
Above answers' "focaccia" is not real bread but it's a flat oven-baked bread.

Foccacia is a thin dense bread, sometimes with coarse salt or herbs/garlic on top that is often served with olive oil at Italian restaurants.

There are a great variety of italian breads that would go before meals and serve with olive oil

1/ flat bread
- panigacci, focaccette

2/ with herbs and dried tomato
- probably focaccia
