Absolutely. Sometimes, pacemakers don't work anymore, and when they stop, and the heart stops you have to do CPR.
There is no contraindiction for CPR expect a heartbeat!!!

IM gonna say yes on this,situation.A pace maker is put in the upper part of the chest and not directly in the heart area.But if put in situation that CPR has to be used your main concern is to get the heart started again.If I was to come upon a person that needed CPR Im most likely not gonna be concerned about looking for a pace maker in a lot of cases the pacemaker is noy noy noticeable.But with the revised CPR technique they are telling us to do more breathing and less heart compressions,concentrating on keeping oxygen in the lungs.But a good way to find out for sure is to ask a CPR instructer or contact the RED CROSS they give CPR classes

Yes. The ONLY change is if you use an AED device, you do not position the pad on the pacemaker.
