No. And for anything my Son has found time to hit the garden in, 40 isn't much better.
By the way, anything less than 100 doesn't shift most bacteria and the inside of your washing machine typically has more (of the same!) bacteria as your toilet.
Your clothes often come out 'dirtier' than when they went in. A quick cycle with a shot of bleach between washes sorts it out.

I always wash on 30, but my towels and bedding I do on a 40 wash. i find if you don't fill the machine too full it gets them clean, my machine has a quick wash which i use alot and put the washing on the line to dry theres nothing better.

I always use cold water with SA-8 (Amway) soap. Our water is a lot cooler than 30 degrees C, especially in winter. I hang the laundry out in the sun to dry. The UV does the job on any bacteria and it smells great!

What do you call clean? All this nonsense about bacteria - you'd have to boil your clothes to get rid of them. All I require is no marks and no smell; and Eco balls (or the like) are good enough for all but greasy stains and grimey whites at 30C. If you're worried about bacteria, don't touch anything, wear a face mask and don't eat food.

ummm, I don't see how washing clothes at 40 rather than 30 will kill more germs than the soap or why drying the cloths will not attain high enough temperatures to do the job. Do you really need to kill the germs three times just to be sure?

most clothes do but with 2 young children & a husband who`s a keen sports player some of the more stubborn stains need to be soaked in a soda crystal/water solution first.

a million/2 of it is going to finally end up reduced in size! look into the labels - and style into piles. some will purely have the potential to flow in at 30 tiers, so of the cotton stuff would be at ninety so which you need to learn all of it. a classic wash for each form of fabric is wonderful.
