For the last two weeks I have been craving sugary foods like mad! Which is strage for me because I'm not really a sweet tooth..... Could I be Diabetic??

I have never craved sugar and became diabetic. Many folks who crave sugar never become diabetic. Sugar does not cause diabetes. Craving sugar has nothing to do with becoming diabetic. Craving sugar does not automatically mean you are diabetic. Do you have a family history of diabetes? Why would that be the first thing you think of? Something must have triggered that thought. But diabetes is not caused by sugar or does it cause cravings for sugar. A diabetic can have sugar in moderate amounts as lot as it is counted in the daily carb count. If you are worried, talk to your doctor. He will be able to give you the correct answer without guessing.

generally that does not mean you are diabetic. it just means forsome reason you r body needs it and that is all but if you want peace of mind go and have it checked it wont' hurt. remember readings over 100 mark diabetics and that is where some docotrs differ that is bad caus ethey should all come together and this is where you should then be seeing specialist. take care

thast weird that your having these cravings.
but diabetes isnt a matter of craving sugar, its a mater of if your body is creating insulin to match your sugart intake. to even if you are craving sugar or you arnt, it doesnt really have any thing to do with diabetes because diabetes mostly is invold with carbohydrates.

no maybe it's because you are not use to sugar and your body can't stand going without sugar so long. That's why it needs sugar once in a while. But if you have gone to long then it really needs it. So eat sugar then stop and eat regularly.
