The UK climate, and growing season are not right for growing rice.

Probably not. Here are the rice production statistics from 1961-2005 by Continent, then country, published by the International Rice Research Institute:

Page 6 lists European production and does not mention the UK explicitly, although it is possible they are included in "other."

I've never seen a paddy field here, and I've never heard of British grown rice...so I'd say no.

No the climate isn't right. You need like warm bogs or something like that.

yes but only in ireland and liverpool.they are the main centres for paddys.lol
