I know it sounds crazy but here goes any way... You could get a wooden-treaure-chest kind of box or get an ordinary wood box and dress it up to resemble a pirate's treasure chest... line it with some safe food grade material.. butter paper or foil or something and fill it up with the beans... get a nice looking spoon or ladle... you could paint its stem gold or silver to resemble a sword hilt... dress up as a pirate (its real fun!) and exhibit your treasure to your guests.... you could even consider decorating your stall after your theme... Have fun! and all the best!

How about serving the beans in a can, just like Bush's beans come in...remove the labels, wash em well and serve with a spoon sticking out. The idea is to look like they ate on the frontier or a cattle drive. You may be able to find new cans in a baking supply store.

I like the toilet bowl idea even if a bit bizarre. But you can do a spin on the Bush's baked beans commercials and have a picture of a dog and post - for the secrete recipie contact Fluffy or something.

Another idea is to serve them in little ovens. You can construct a cardboard oven or find one in the toy department and serve it in a bean shaped dish. Literally a baked bean.

There some really great ideas above. As for the presentation, other than the cook ware/accessories, you might cut the veggie/bacon ingredients into fun shapes with metal cookie cutters/metal dies, just for fun effect.

Good luck!

You might remember from the old time Western movies, the cowhands were were always boiling their beans over a campfire. You could create a "cold" campfire with a few river stones and red cellophane for the fire. Make a tripod and hang the bean pot over the fire. Sounds like a fun project.

Offer air freshener at your booth?
I'm kidding! I'm kidding!! I just had to say it.

I like the ideas that have been given so far.
The bean crock combined with having the incredients around it sounds nice.

If the presentation is just for your booth, hmmmm...I wonder if you could construct a volcano around your chili pot...of course you can start it by dribbling some beans down the side, but when you ladle your beans out, a little dribbling will just add to the volcano lava effect...weird, but it keeps coming to mind.

a big brown Boston Bean Pot (Crate & Barrel has them)== ok, boring, but nice presentation.

Decorate w/ ingredients that are in your beans: bellpeppers, carrots, onions, celery, apples, mustard seeds, whatever

an old, big black cast-iron pot, again w/ veggies around it.

I have a little ceramic toilet that was made as a dog bowl, but I have giant dogs who drink out of the real toilet. That would be great. Email me if you want it. I'm in the St. Louis area.

What about a big metal bucket? Kinda like it would be over a camp fire.
