If he is a sweetheart then you shouldn't have to much trouble. If this comes back as genital warts than you owe it to him and yourself to tell and get treated. He could carry this for his entire life and never show any symptoms yet he could pass it along so he needs to know. Now for you, do not be scared I know that this is hard but even if it is warts they can be treated they freeze them off it is not to painful. You do need to be checked once a year after this because they can turn into cancer if not monitored. This why it is better to stay away from sex until you are sure this is the person you will be with forever. I am sorry that you are going through this but you can come through it better and stronger than ever before. Good luck.

Genital Warts are caused by HPV. This is an STD that is very common these days. My husband had them when we got married. He had them removed and I never caught them.

However, you may want to check out this web link and make sure you tell your boyfriend...I am sure he will understand and you can practise safe sex until the problem is all cleared up!

I wish you the best of luck and am glad you are seeing your doctor!

You are getting yourself all worked up before you even know for sure.

Wait until you see the doctor and find out if you have anything to be worried about. Sometimes it's an ingrown hair or an infected hair follicle or even a pimple.

Ok, you need to find out for sure if that's what you have because HPV (genital warts) can be dangerous to you health and your mate's health. If you tell him then you can both be treated. Make sure he checks himself as well. HPV is scary because if you don't take care of it it can lead to cervical/penile cancer.
PLEASE tell him for his own health.

Good luck!
