yes, i do know the difference between vegie and vegan so dont start telling me all of that.
but did you know that as milk is filtered through the cows body is collects bits of blood and other things from the body, so its not really suitable for veggies, did you know this? do you hink there should be some kind of warning on the bottles saying this is the case?

I don't know about that, but i do know that more than half the dairy cattle bred are killed at 1 week old
So, to get the milk, bulls, excess cows and free martins are all killed at 1 week old ( or whenever the bolt man arrives )
So "Ceasars Wife" is not entirely correct. Sure, to get that specifc pint the cow wasn't killed, but the process demands many cows are killed.
So, drinking commercial milk makes drinkers responsible for those cows being killed.
Its fact, not scare mongering.
I'm not judging on it, just stating a fact. If you are comfortable with that, fair enough - drink on.
I don't have leather shoes nor a leather sofa, and my car will cost me about £10K ( garage estimate - not mine ) on trade in value because i had fabric seats so i guest i'm in the "other" half

Vegetarians devour products that don't kill animals which might contain, milk, cheese butter etc. Vegans do no longer devour something coming from an animals in any respect, alongside with no longer using products that are examined on animals and not wearing any fabric that comes from animals. while i grew to become right into a vegetarian i did no longer drink milk because of the fact i think of it is gross to drink yet another animals breast milk, additionally the animals are taken care of cruelly in the technique of having the milk. So I merely substituted it with Soy. yet to reply to your question... Vegetarians many times drink Milk till they make the alternative no longer too. desire this enables.

Actually, I do know that. And that's why I drink Rice Milk. Oh yeah! And I don't eat cheese, yogurt, cream cheese, cottage cheese, etc.
Please don't come into this category assuming that people have not done their homework because we have. In my research I found that the dairy industry is closely linked with the meat industry. The conditions that the dairy cows live in are deplorable and after they're finished being used for those purposes, they are often slaughtered for food. SO, money spent on dairy products directly supports the meat industry. Yeah. Yeah. I know that.
Of course there should be warnings, but do you think people would actually buy it if that info was printed on the side? Heck no. It's a shame.

I thought you were going to point out that most (at least in the US) milk has added vitamin D-3. The primary source of D-3 used to be from lanolin (wool fat) exposed to ultraviolet light (still a major source) but now the market has been flooded by cheaper D-3 that's getting produced from slaughterhouse fats.
That's not to belittle your argument that milk is not the pure, sanitary product that the dairy industry would have people believe! Even after pasteurization there's still plenty of bacteria, viruses and prions left active in milk, but lacto-vegetarians need to be aware that slaughterhouse by-products ARE in their milk and that's a much better reason to avoid it.

its not just about the killing of animals, it is what they are being fed that is the concern here. I don't eat meat of any kind, or animal parts as in milk. Milk comes from cows and I won't eat what they are eating. Thank you!

But no cow was killed in the making of the pint.
Your argument about not consuming parts of animals raises the point of breastfeeding babies. As a vegetarian, are you comfortable with consuming a human's milk? And some people eat their placenta. Is this acceptable?
I am not a vegetarian, although I have friends who are. And yes, they are comfortable with drinking milk.

Yes, it is mucus-inducing and throws the body out of balance from being alkaline. Not only that, a significant portion of the population (me included) are lactose-intolerant.
I prefer soy or almond milk.
