What I think you're asking is, Without glucose would we die? The answer to that would be, yes... absolutely. If a type one diabetic doesn't get their insulin, their blood glucose can't get into their cells, the cells starve, and the patient dies... within several hours. Glucose is essential for cellular energy.
Table sugar, on the other hand, is an unnecessary option we could all do without. Our body can get glucose from all sorts of other sources.
FYI... table sugar (sucrose) is a disaccharide, consisting of glucose and fructose.

Yes. You will. The brain functions on 2 things:
1.Oxygen
2. Glucose
Without sugar your brain ceases to work, and your body will shut down.
Do you need to eat candy? No.
There are two ways to get sugar: Simple sugar, like whats found in candy and fruit and complex sugar, called carbohydrates, that is found in bread and pasta and things like that.
They work a bit differently, they are both sources of sugar, but simple sugars are broken down and burned quickly (hence a sugar high, and a crash) whereas carbs are broken down and burned slowly, so they last longer (thats why bread and pasta can fill you up for so long)
You do need some type of sugar though.
Hypoglycemia, which is when you don't have enough sugar in your system to keep your body going, can affect anyone, not just diabetics, and when it does it IS a real medical emergency...people die from it, and it's because their brains stop working right (thats why people get cranky, and then incoherent, and then unresponsive) and eventually, they stop breathing, and everything else stops.
If you don't believe me, don't eat or drink anything with sugar or carbs in it when you wake up tomorrow, and see how long it takes before you feel like crap....and then EAT!

NO. Sugar is not a natural food, we do not need it. Many people don't eat sugar due to religious reasons as well. That doesn't mean no carbohydrates at all... but when it comes down to it, you could go your whole life and never eat a grain of sugar, a spoon of honey, or molasses and be just as fit and healthy as anyone. Sugar does not have any metabolic necessity. I have eaten sugar in my life, but I no longer eat it at all.

you can never eat no sugar. There is sugar in almost everything we eat, and carbos, break down into sugar. All fruits have sugar so don't worry, even if you never touched ice cream or candy bars,or table sugar, cakes or pies, you will get plenty of sugars in your diet.

No, because you get sugar from other sources in your foods. Fruit is a good example. Most of your foods (carbs) break down into glucose for energy.

everything has abit of sugar in it that is why you can't get away from it. the thing is there are some of us that dont' have enough insulin in the body to take care of the sugar intake and that is why you need shots or meds.

All carbohydrates (bread, noodles, rice, crackers, vegetables, etc.) turn into sugar in your body. You don't need to add any.
