Of course, just like any other STD.

Just because a person has sex with someone who has a STD doesn't mean it is a 100% guarentee they will contract it themselves. They are definetly taking a risk, espeically if the sex is unprotected, but it's not a guarentee!

Good luck and take care!

Genital warts are small fleshy growths which may appear anywhere on a man or woman's genital area. They are caused by a virus called human papilloma virus (HPV).

There are more than 60 different types of HPV. Some types cause warts to grow on the genitals, others cause warts to grow on different parts of the body, such as the hands.

Signs and symptoms
After you have been infected with the genital wart virus it usually takes between 1 and 3 months for warts to appear on your genitals.

You or your partner may notice pinkish/white small lumps or larger cauliflower-shaped lumps on the genital area. Warts can appear around the vulva, the penis, the scrotum or the anus. They may occur singly or in groups. They may itch, but are usually painless. Often there are no other symptoms, and the warts may be difficult to see. In women genital warts can develop inside the vagina and on the cervix. If a woman has warts on her cervix, this may cause slight bleeding or, very rarely, an unusual coloured vaginal discharge.

Not everyone who comes into contact with the virus will develop warts.

Warts are a virus. They may, they may not. Why risk it? Yes it is possible. The two of you should go see a physician together to talk with them about it. If you are embarrassed, then you aren't ready. You should take it seriously, but don't kill the relationship because of it, if it's a good relationship. There are lots of ways to make love without it being dangerous and you can manage things the "regular" way after the two of you talk to the same doctor...at the same time. Good luck. Don't infect, nor get infected.

Always know what you r getting yourself into
so why would you risk your heath, also remember you will have to show the docter your bits so he can prescibe you the medication.
then you will have the fun of squating over a mirror while you paint over the warts that are growing out of your bum.
So with all the protection that is available why woud you even think about it

It is possible but why risk it? Condoms will not necessarily prevent it either, because it is about skin to skin contact, not just fluids
