I've researched herbal remedies and there are several that claim to help. Just go to a place like www.vitaminshoppe.com and search for kidney stones. You'll find several preparations that claim to help. I bookmarked a few that contained herbs I'd read about, such as Bearberry, uva ursi, etc.

I didn't try any so I can't say whether or not they'll help - but at least you won't have to bother researching this yourself!

I've seen a couple of expensive preparations that claim to help - Uriflow and Kidney Dr. Both are pricy and probably won't work as claimed.

You might consider going to Yahoo groups and searching for kidney stones. There are a lot of groups out there, and I even saw one for those following a low oxalate diet. You might find them to be of assistance.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

you say you drink plenty of water but it has to be Reverse Osmosis water because any water that is not filtered by reverse osmosis is not good because water has calcium deposits in it and if it is not filtered out you are doing more harm than good! So make sure you are drinking Reverse Osmosis water it will tell you if it is reverse osmosis on the back of bottled water. Spring water is just TAP water!!

Kindly have your serum paratharmone (Parathyroid Glands) tested and also your uric acid and serum calcium examined. It is a Major cause of recurrent renal stones.
Best of Luck.
