By signs and symptoms you can say the persons is having heart attack-

Heart attacks have many variable signs and symptoms. Not all people who have heart attacks experience the same ones or experience them to the same degree. Many heart attacks aren't as dramatic as the ones you've seen on TV or in the movies.

For example, heart attack symptoms in women, in older adults and in people with diabetes tend to be less pronounced. Some people have no symptoms at all. Still, the more signs and symptoms you have, the greater the likelihood that you may be having a heart attack.

Warning signs and symptoms of a heart attack include:

* Pressure, fullness or a squeezing pain in the center of your chest that lasts for more than a few minutes
* Pain extending beyond your chest to your shoulder, arm, back, or even to your teeth and jaw
* Increasing episodes of chest pain
* Prolonged pain in the upper abdomen
* Shortness of breath
* Sweating
* Impending sense of doom
* Lightheadedness
* Fainting
* Nausea and vomiting

A heart attack can occur anytime — at work or play, while you're resting, or while you're in motion. Some heart attacks strike suddenly, but many people who experience a heart attack have warning signs and symptoms hours, days or weeks in advance. The earliest predictor of an attack may be recurrent chest pain (angina) that's triggered by exertion and relieved by rest. Angina is caused by temporary, insufficient blood flow to the heart. The medical term for insufficient blood flow to the heart is "cardiac ischemia."-

If you are asking how to know if you're having a heart attack,there are symptoms.Chest pain,pain in the left arm,pain in the back,nausea,sweating,difficulty breathing and pain in the jaw are some symptoms.Women however don't normally have any of these symptoms.Generally they just feel weak or "out of sorts",or have flu like symptoms.If in doubt see your doctor or go to the hospital

Myocardial infarction (MI) is caused by marked reduction/loss of blood flow through one or more of the coronary arteries, resulting in cardiac muscle ischemia and necrosis.

The classic sign of a person experiencing a heart attack is having a heavy pain on the chest that may radiate to the left shoulder going up to the jaw or going down to the arms and hands.

Other symptoms are:
BP may be normal, increased, or decreased; postural changes may be noted from lying to sitting/standing
Pulse may be normal, full/bounding, or have a weak/thready quality with delayed capillary refill; irregularities (dysrhythmias) may be present
Heart sounds S3/S4 may reflect a pathological condition (e.g., cardiac failure, decreased ventricular contractility or compliance)
Murmurs may reflect valvular insufficiency or papillary muscle dysfunction
Friction rub (suggests pericarditis)
Heart rate regular or irregular; tachycardia/bradycardia may be present
Edema: Jugular vein distention, peripheral/dependent edema, generalized edema
Color: Pallor or cyanosis/mottling of skin, nailbeds, mucous membranes, and lips may be noted

The most common symptoms of coronary artery disease (CAD) are: Chest pain or chest discomfort (angina) or pain in one or both arms or in the left shoulder, neck, jaw, or back, Shortness of breath, profuse sweating, numbness in hands etc. Please note that diabetic patients may not get the pain in the heart. When a person gets symptoms of chest pain due to the blockages, the problem has already exceeded the alarming level.

Here's a normal, understandable answer.

Chest pressure (not necessarily pain), usually left arm pain or pressure, jaw pain, neck pain, left arm tingling or numbness, shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting.

These are the classic heart attack symptoms.
