Nobody - including Mr. Gore - can be the ultimate environmentalist. But we can all help contribute to a better, greener world if we all try to do our fair share. I suspect Mr. Gore has made a stronger contribution that you have.
I further suspect that your obvious hostility is directed at Al Gore the liberal Democrat - not Al Gore, Mr. Planet-friendly.
Knock the chip off your shoulder and see how you, too, might be a participant in the most important issue of today's world: if we don't save the environment; protect the delicate ecological balance between all men, plants and animals; try to reduce global warming - our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will wonder why we were so blatantly selfish, arrogant and greedy. -RKO- 09/04/07

C'mon Emily, lose the unbridled hostility, open your eyes, read Mr. Gore's books, see the movie, and don't I repeat don't expect Gore to be God himself, the perfect being. His detractors do a fair job trying to discredit him, I admit. Fortunately, most of the so-called evidence turns out to be false or half-truths at best. Had you actually provided the link we could have decided for ourselves.
