Is chest pain a symptom of type 2 diabetes? The answer is no. I do not know your age or anything else about you medically but if you are having chest pain you should absolutely go to the er and/or go see a cardiologist. Having type 2 diabetes does put you at a higher risk for having heart disease and/or heart attack. Often in diabetics they symptoms of coronary artery disease and heart attacks are milder or atypical from what you might normally expect as diabetics often suffer from neuropathy. If you are female this is even more true. Please get your chest pain evaluated thoroughly. This could be life or death

No, you should not be getting any chest pain relating to diabetes.

One of the major complications for some diabetics is high blood pressure and heart problems.

If you have chest pain again go to the hospital. It MIGHT be serious. Also see your doctor now about the chest pain.

Diabetes is not a chest pain type of disease. You should look elsewhere for that. It could be heart, indigestion, GERD, or any number of things. It is best to always have chest pain checked out. You need to make sure you are in tip top shape and stay that way. You are working on being healthy and staying that way if you are diabetic. You owe it to yourself and your family.

Two diabetics in the family. Neither complained of chest pains. They could be something (angina, etc.) or nothing (gas). You won't know unless you see a doctor.
