To know the answer to this ques you need to know the pathology behind asthma. Its basically an allergic manifestation of bronchi (respiratory passages) when you inhale a particular allergen to which one is suspectible the cells in bronchi produce abnormally large amounts of antibodies against the allergen which causes massive release of histamine the substance responsible for producing the various manifestations of asthma. Now this abnormal response to the allergen is due to unique genes in your cells which makes them behave like that. These genes are inherited that is passed from parents to offsprings. I think that answers your question well .

Bronchial asthma can be caused from a number of things, but in many cases it is hereditary. Someone in the family already has suffered from eczema or asthma and it just seems to get passed down through the genes in the family.

this is a nicely respected surgeon in --beverly hills-- in prepare for over two decades. Theres your answer. No offense, yet I think of those docs prefer to tell human beings what they prefer to hearken to, you are the only paying after all and in case you do in comparison to what he says, theres a a hundred different docs that assist you to comprehend what you do prefer to hearken to. I actually have a chum whose older sister had bronchial asthma and smoked. She become in basic terms married whilst she had an attack and could not get to her inhaler on the time. She died. each and all the docs reported if she had provide up smoking, the attack possibly does not have been as deadly because it became out to be. She become in basic terms 22 or 23 on the time. i don't see how any surgeon ought to make it easier to comprehend smoking does not influence your bronchial asthma.

The world today says it is all from smoking and 2nd hand smoking not inherited.
Thank you for bringing this up though. I am in the medical field (for many years) and so much has changed but for the one thing......the BIG question ALWAYS asked on all new patient forms at doctors offices and that is Who in your family has had??? So, if outside sources "cause" all these illnesses why do genetics play a role in tracking down who is subject to fall prey to a certain illness?
Yes, smoking is an irritant and can bring on asthma attacks from breathing 2nd hand smoke I agree..But..back to genetics again. We have documented cases after cases where newer generations have never been around smoking, never smoked and yet suffer all kinds of health problems, asthma & allergies included.
BTW I am a non smoker but one that believes in a person's right of choice. We have multiple health problems related to overeating, drinking, poor driving habits, etc. I also believe a person who owns his own building should post a sign stating if his owned establishment is NonSmoking or Smokers Only not for others & gov't to tell a owner what he can do. Simple. Then all would know before entering.
Thank you again for posting this heredity question.

It is not the bronchial asthma an sich that is passed through particular genes to the offsprings. These genes pass the allergic properties that include bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis (runny nose), uricaria (hives), allergic dermatitis, and still many others.

An individual may inherit his or her bronchial asthma from a parent with urticaria.

It can be inherited but it's coming out of deep-rooted fear, anxiety and stress. Asthma is now considered an anxiety disorder by the medical community. The root is fear of abandonment coupled with insecurity.

It has nothing to do with what you breathe. We've known it to be caused by fear, anxiety and stress for over a decade.

It is very important to get right with 3 things.

1. Peace with God

2. Peace with yourself

3. Peace with others

Perfect love casts out all fear, because fear has torment (asthma).

You have inherited familiar spirits, because fear is an evil spirit. You need the spirit of fear cast out.

You think I'm crazy, that is okay, I don't care, but find a Deliverance Ministry in your local area and explain that you have asthma. And it has been suggested that you need the spirit of fear cast out of you. They will help you and you'll be well without drugs. I've been there and done it.
