Heyy... im a 14 year old male. Today i noticed a few small red bumps on the inside of my upper thigh near well you know... that private area... I did research on it and it came up as herpes. I read that you get it from sexual contact with another person but i havent had sex before. Or had a girlfriend so i have been in close contact with anyone... but i have jacked off like every other guy i know of thats a teen... but maybe i have done it too many times... please tell me its just a rash and it will go away... i need an answer =(

I read that its not curable and it can lead to AIDs witch can lead to death... please... do you think it really is herpes?

NO, I don't think it is herpes. Herpes Hurt like hell and they itch really bad, they look like blisters and in that area you would feel tingling or they would itch. Herpes does not lead to aides. There is study that says people with Herpes are more susceptible to aides because of the open sores. It could be a allergic reaction to the detergent you are using. Wash the area and use loose clothing so that area can breath if it is a little rash and if you are really concerned go see your Dr.

Hold on hold on first masturbation don't cause an std to get genital herpes you need to have skin to skin contact with someone who has herpes. And second herpes doesn't cause aids ... but if you have unprotected sex with someone with aids you're more susceptible to get it because of the open sores. I doubt you have herpes it could ingrown hairs or sweat bumps if you're an athlete ..it could be a lot of things

You do not need to have sexual contact to get herpes. Im not saying that he has it or doesnt have it but it would do some good for you guys not to give out the wrong information. Having herpes can lead to getting other stds, not necessarily aids but you open yourself up to other diseases when you get stds. The best thing for you to do it go to a doctor. No one on here can diagnose you.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.

Hello,

If you have not had any sex, oral, vaginal, rectal you have absolutely nothing to be concerned over!

You may have some folliculitis, which is minor staph infections of hair follicles.
Try hot compresses and neosporin, if that doesn't help, go see your Dr.

But as for Herpes and Aids, you should have no worries!

Kid, serously think about it, you havent had any sexual contact with anyone of either sex then how in the world can it be herpes? You might have jock itch or ingrown hairs (your 14 after all...puberty)

And it can not lead to AIDS (Which only leads to death in serous cases) get your research right.
