Good question , ....to which i've no answer. What I'D LIKE to know is: When all this happened eons ago , what chinaman in his right mind thought it was easier and better to implement the use of two tiny wooden sticks to make eating..a challenge , rather than just picking it up with the hands??!! .....i mean , just HOW did that transpire? Was he cleaning a duck while glancing at a bamboo tree and said "Hey! I got a great idea!!" WTF??!

The fork did not come along until the middle ages, but was not widely accepted. Most people used a knife, spoon and their fingers.
